Christina Neo

Physiotherapist
B. Sc. Physiotherapy (Hons, Australia)

Christina graduated with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University, Australia in 1998. She worked at Singapore General Hospital, private clinics and the Singapore Sports Council. She has gained extensive experience in the area of sports physiotherapy and has done clinical research on knees and rehabilitation post ACL reconstruction. Christina is extremely active as a triathlete, marathon runner and golfer. She is also Physionique’s manager.

Denise Galvin

Physiotherapist
B. Physiotherapy (UCD, Ireland)

Denise is a physiotherapist from Ireland. Her interests are in orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy, having worked in these areas in Ireland, Australia, Abu Dhabi and now Singapore. She has a lot of experience with post-surgical rehabilitation of knees, ankles and fracture management. She provided physiotherapy coverage for football and rugby teams in Ireland and for the Singapore National Cricket squads. This involved training, injury prevention and management on and off the field.

Magesh Thavamany

Physiotherapist
B. App. Sc. Physiotherapy (Australia)

Magesh graduated as a Physiotherapist from Curtin University, Australia in 1993. She has worked at the Singapore Sports School, Singapore General Hospital, at Mount Alvernia Hospital as Women’s Health Coordinator and at a private practice in Ottawa, Canada. Her areas of specialty include orthopaedics, neck and back pain, sports injuries, and women’s health. She has been involved in numerous supervisory and senior management positions in her career and has conducted workshops and training sessions for patients, hospital staff, junior physiotherapists and students.

Ingrid Remijn

B. Physiotherapy (The Netherlands)
Drs. Human Movement Sciences (The Netherlands)

Ingrid graduated in Physiotherapy in 1996 from the Hogeschool Utrecht in The Netherlands.  In addition, she did Manual Therapy courses for 3 years. Before that she worked as a human movement / ergonomic teacher for the Physiotherapy Educational Program at the School for Physiotherapy. Since 1997 she has worked as a physiotherapist in private clinics in Switzerland, UK, Singapore and Shanghai.  Her areas of interest include sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, neck and back pain. She speaks Dutch, English, French, German and some Mandarin.

Moobusshera Hatim

Postgrad Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (New Zealand)

Moobusshera (Moobush or Moo for short) has extensive experience in the management of sports injuries, rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions in hospitals and private clinics. Having done courses in lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, postural training, craniosacral therapy and other advanced manual therapy courses, Moo has found her passion in the treatment of spinal and pelvic joint dysfunction and postural correction. 

Helen Crawford

Podiatrist
B. Sc. Podiatric Medicine (London, UK)

Helen qualified as a podiatrist in London in 1989 and subsequently worked for six years in the National Health Service. During that time she specialized in, and ran the diabetic and biomechanical services. She has worked in Singapore since 1995 and has been instrumental in the setting up and running of several hospital podiatry departments. She has been in part-time private practice since 1998. At Physionique, Helen treats both biomechanical and clinical podiatry cases.

Eric Lim

Massage Therapist

Eric is a professional sports massage therapist with 7 years of experience. He holds a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, and has certification in Sports Massage as well as advanced Myofascial Release. He has worked closely with physiotherapists in a rehabilitative setting to assist with treatment of injuries. He is an advocate of pre- and post-sports event massage, and is interested in painful conditions of the shoulder, lower limb, neck, upper and lower back. He is also a certified personal trainer and fitness leader. Recreationally, Eric is a Scuba dive master.

Fong Yee Min

Massage Therapist

Yee Min is a professional sports massage therapist with more than 6 years of experience, She is also a qualified sports trainer and has done team coverage for schools as well as National sporting teams. She has a diploma in Sports and Exercise Sciences from Blackburn College. With such complimentary sets of skills, she is able to effectively use massage therapy to help athletes optimize sports performance, prevent injuries as well as enhance recovery from sports injuries. Social cycling is her hobby of choice.

Trevor Lee

Massage Therapist

Trevor is a professional massage therapist with 4 years of experience and a certified Sports Trainer with a diploma in Sports and Exercise Sciences from Blackburn College. He has provided his expertise at major sporting events as well as sports clubs. Having worked with athletes from a range of sports, he believes that massage is the most effective therapy for releasing muscle tension, restoring balance to the musculo-skeletal system, aiding recovery and even enhancing performance. He enjoys the outdoors and activities such as trekking, kayaking and running.

Esther Khoo

Remedial Massage Therapist (Australia)

Esther received a diploma in Remedial Massage from the School of Integrated Body Therapy (Australia) in 2006.  She also has a diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage (England) and has certificates in Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Whole Health Pathology and Holistic Aromatherapy from the Australian School of Awareness.  Her experience includes working with national sailors at the National Sailing Centre and national athletes at the Singapore Sports council.  Besides massage, Esther uses other soft tissue release techniques, aromatherapy blends, and postural corrections to provide a holistic approach of health to her clients.
