Magesh Thavamany is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with 28 years of experience. She graduated from Curtin University of Technology (Western Australia) with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy.
She works with clients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions related to sports injuries and neck & back pain associated with postural dysfunction. She is particularly interested in shoulder conditions. Another area of interest is Women’s Health – comprising of ante/postnatal care, management and treatment of stress incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, and postpartum abdominal diastasis. To add to the variety of her skills, Magesh also works with stroke patients.
Magesh strongly believes in mentorship and has been involved in numerous supervision and senior management positions in her career. She enjoys passing on her knowledge and has conducted workshops and training sessions for corporate clients, patients, hospital staff, junior physiotherapists and students.
Each musculoskeletal condition presents with its own array of signs and symptoms. Treatment plans are therefore specially tailored and modified accordingly for each patient. Education is a large component of the treatment.
